The Barka V Independent water project

Description: Barka V desalination plant is located at 58 KM west of Muscat and was awarded to the spanish company GS INIMA.

This desalination plant will have a daily capacity of 100.000 m3 and will supply drinking water to a population of 800.000 people. The completion of the construction and the plant commissioning is planned for June 2024.

Dragafon is performing the trench dredging works for 4 marine pipelines, 2 intake and 2 outfall and also for 2 intake towers. Our work begins at KP 600 and finish at KP 1600
